I use trillian too, I love it

I only use MSN when I actually want to do video conversations, because it's the easiest and nicest I've found.

In LFS, it's most likely not an illustion, I'm pretty sure the rotation is drawn, but due to either your framerate or refresh rate, you'd get the same illusion.

I'm guessing there's not some line of code that says "at x velocity, start spinning wheels backwards"

It's most likely power actually, the PSU came with my case, and is some off brand I've never heard of. I'll replace it and see if that fixes it. Unfortunately money isn't exactly flowing out of my ears right now :-\ Oh well, they're not too expensive I guess

oh, BTW, I already have a 500w PSU. It's kinda old though, I might give replacing it a shot.

It's not the power saving thing. I have that enabled, but I don't know why they'd shut off right as I was in the middle of booting, they're being pretty heavily used right then.

They do show up just fine in BIOS, too.
What would cause both of my Internal Hard drives to shut off at the same time?

Okay, this is strange. I rebooted my computer, and on startup, just as Windows was coming up, both of my hard drives spun down. Windows was totally freaked out by this, and threw a BSOD saying it couldn't find the thread it was loading, which is pretty obvious considering the hard drives were off.

Anyway, I hit the reset button, and it happened again, but this time it happened after I'd typed in my password.

Hit reset again, and the computer boots just fine, but then my wireless card won't connect.

Reboot in safe mode, the hard drives spin down and I get a BSOD

Reboot in safe mode again, and it comes up. I didn't really do anything in safe mode since I have no clue what the problem is.

I rebooted again in normal mode, and everything works fine. I have absolutely no clue what's going on, other than maybe my drive controller is shot.

I have a Gigabyte GA-8IPE1000-G motherboard, with a 160GB Seagate Barracuda, and an 80 GB Quantum Fireball, both IDE.

The only change I'd done before booting was install a VNC client, and I'd already rebooted after installing that, and it was just fine.

It's fairly amusing, lol. I have no clue what the Finns are doing to stay in the lead though...

I think TDU is excellent, if you just like driving around it's perfect. I have it for Xbox 360, and once you reach champion level and unlock the hardcore physics, it actually feels pretty good.

There's a rather large thread on it, you might want to take a read through it.

Quote from DragonCommando :OK guys, look up Mitsubishi Starion

Thats what the XR GT Turbo is.

The interior is modeled after the Stealth's interior

I wonder why he didn't just use the Starion's interior, its not hard to get pictures.

You do realize the Stealth and the 3000GT are the same car, don't you?

It sounds like you might just have your FFB settings too high. This happens to me on my DFP every once in a while, not really when I'm stopped, but when I'm driving. If the back end starts to sway, the wheel will turn from side to side trying to keep the car straight simply because of suspension and alignment settings, however the FFB motors in commercial wheels aren't really fast enough to do this, the wheel doesn't turn as fast as it would in real life. Because of this the steering input lags behind slightly, and the oscillation gets larger instead of smaller.

Solution, turn your FFB down a bit and keep your hands on the wheel

Oh, and I do get the swaying problem at a standstill sometimes, but really only when I've come to a stop in such a way that the car is swaying from side to side on the suspension, this effect may be realistic, depending on the amount of lateral movement and caster settings, but the FFB generated seems greatly exaggerated.

Here's my attempt at, "Oooh, I can make oversaturated, bloomed 'ultra realistic' screenshots," but using PGR3 and my Xbox 360, and TBH, I think it looks equal or better than the PS3.

OMG that would hurt, especially considering he's probably going 50mph....

I'm amazed he actually stays on his skis and comes to a full stop, I probably would have just hit the deck..

I highly doubt the guy driving the Ferrari, or the guy driving the M3 was American, considering they're both RHD.....

No dammit, I'm honestly really pissed off. There's not just an unlimited supply of Carrera GTs laying around, if they want to get rid of it then for God's sake give it to me, someone that'll actually enjoy it and use it for it's intended purpose.

That car doesn't deserve an end like that, it really doesn't.

Quote from Shotglass :the one that turned into 2 enzos ?

That'd be the one, Ferrari said it would be like $350,000, but they would repair it. Rebuild it is more accurate really.

Damaged beyond repair is a relative term. I can't imagine they're just going to scrap one of 349 total Enzos. AFAIK, Ferrari said they could even repair the Enzo that the CEO or whatever of Gizmondo wrecked (can't remember his name) and that one was a lot worse off than this one.

Some single lap hotlap and qualifying setups for the XF GTi and a lot of the WR UF1000 setups actually have hybrids on both ends, just because they heat up so much faster.

By the way, fun racing on the STCC 1a server on Rally x today

I probably had a lot, but I don't remember, it was a long time ago. I had demo for a while because I didn't have a credit card and my parents wouldn't buy it, however, as soon as a got a card, LFS was my very first purchase
